Effects of the cancellation
Section titled “Effects of the cancellation”-
Professional or Business subscription
- The cancellation is processed immediately, but the subscription remains active until the renewal date.
- You will receive a confirmation email with the expiration date and recommendations (e.g., download important data or complete pending projects).
- During this period, you can reactivate the subscription at any time by clicking the Reactivate subscription button.
- If it is not reactivated, the subscription will expire on the renewal date and your access to the service will be suspended.
-
eDocExchange subscription (monthly)
- Subscriptions can only be cancelled if they are on a monthly basis.
- The cancellation takes effect immediately and the subscription is deactivated on the same day it is processed.
- You will receive a confirmation email indicating that you no longer have access to Premium features and that your account has been converted to Basic.
- Any unused transactions will be lost.
- If there is an excess of transactions, it will be invoiced at the time of cancellation.
- If you change your mind, you can re-subscribe directly from the web application.
If you cannot find the “Cancel subscription” button
Section titled “If you cannot find the “Cancel subscription” button”The Cancel subscription button only appears when the subscription was contracted from the application, is active and has automatic renewal enabled. These are the usual situations in which you do not see it, and what you can do in each one:
- You do not see the feather icon. Only the account owner has access to it. Other users, even administrators, do not see it. Ask the owner to cancel the subscription.
- The Renewal and payment tab does not appear. If the account belongs to a group, the subscription is managed from the group’s main account: log in to it and cancel from there. If you did not contract the subscription from the application, but B2Brouter or a reseller set it up for you, the cancellation is not done from the application either: contact whoever set it up.
- Instead of the button you see the alert “Subscription canceled.” Renewal is already disabled and there is nothing else to do. On a Professional or Business plan, the Reactivate subscription button lets you change your mind until the due date. The date heading also tells you: Date of renovation means renewal is active; Due date means it is already cancelled.
- You see the alert “The payment method … does not allow automatic renewal.” With a payment method that does not renew by itself, such as bank transfer, there is nothing to cancel: the subscription ends on the due date shown on the screen and you will not be charged again.
- The screen asks you to contact your reseller. The subscription is managed by the reseller who set up your account in B2Brouter. Ask them for the cancellation.
- The account has a Kit Digital request, or a subscription payment pending verification. In these cases the screen only shows the due date. If you need to cancel, contact support.
