Document view modes

When viewing a document (issued invoices, received invoices, simplified invoices, quotes, proforma invoices, or tax declarations), you can display it in different viewing modes depending on the type of document.

You can switch between these views using the buttons located at the top of the document:

• Original view: Displays the document as it was generated from an XML file or other source file.
• Preview: Shows a readable preview of the document.
• Legal view: Displays the final version of the document, which will be sent, has been sent, or has been received, as applicable.

Download an invoice

In the invoice’s Download menu you find these options:

• Legal: downloads the document that was sent or received. It does not consume transactions.
• Copy (PDF): downloads a PDF of the invoice. It is available on all plans, Basic included, and it does not consume transactions. If the invoice was sent as a PDF, that PDF is under Legal.
• Copy in another electronic format: the document is regenerated from the saved data. If your account has a transaction limit, this download consumes one transaction, so it asks you to confirm before downloading.

Your plan does not decide whether you can download the PDF, only whether the PDF is signed. See Signing according to your plan.
